Close

In case you haven’t noticed we’re in those lazy, hazy days of summer and as the 2013 summer season, as it in it’s peak right now and comes to a close, hopefully your business marketing efforts have brought you dividends and thrust your business forward into the fall.

But if for some reason, your marketing efforts haven’t paid the dividends you were expecting, here are five things that you can do today to light a fire and blow up your marketing efforts.

Meet Your Clients Face to Face

It’s easy to become disconnected with clients. The internet has become the main way we keep in touch with clients. While the use of social media tools such as twitter, Facebook and Skype, are a convenient way to keep to stay in touch with clients…they’re also responsible for disconnecting us from those same clients on a personal level. A great way to re-connect with those clients and customers is through face to face interaction. Plan a business activity that includes meeting clients outside of the usual office environment.

A picnic, golf outing or a friendly game of softball is a great way to mix things up and solidify that business relationship on a more personal level.

Business meetings can become repetitive and almost robotic when they’re always held in the usual environment of the business office. Another great (more…)

Tips For Better Time Management Taken From The World’s Number ONE Adwords Authority (Video)

Perry Marshall, one of the most recognized prodigies in the field of using
Google Adwords for Business Marketing purposes has expounded on his thoughts about
better time management at the recent, featured Dan Kennedy‘s “Renegade Millionaire:
Creating Income at Will” System Launch, where he was an expert panelist.

In the video, he explained how he’s been able to grow his business using totally
different time management methods and techniques such as delegation of tasks to others.
Perry talks about the fact that you can’t do $1000 an hour work, if your saddled
with doing the usual and often time consuming $10 an hour work all the time. The thought
there is you have to have the necessary time available to focus on the bigger picture,
allowing yourself to concentrate on those $1000 dollar an hour or better tasks.

Here are a few things that Marshall strongly makes up a mindset that many small and mid-sized
business owners miss the mark about and thus constantly make the same mistakes over and
over again in how they approach running a business and missed opportunities…

“I always say there are 3 kinds of work:

$10 per hour
$100 per hour
$1000 per hour
But there are not three. (more…)

Adapting Marketing Mindset Through Personality (Video)

Marketing Mindset Adaptation was discussed, when Joe Polish interviewed

America’s number One Lead Generation and Direct Marketing Specialist Darin Spindler at

Dan Kennedy’s GameChangerDNA Mega Launch in September of 2011.

Many people are in dire straits because of an economy that just can’t seem to fire on all

cylinders. But if you speak with many of today’s entrepreneurs, you may just get a whole

different outlook on business opportunities in today’s economy. Today’s entrepreneur

thinks that right now is a great time to just jump in and start a brand new business

venture.

And who knows, they may just be right, but the question is do they have the proper

mindset to run a business properly in an economy that’s still in the grip of a never ending

recession?

There are experts in the field of marketing who now say that a business owner should

embrace a different theory of managing a business, one that’s built on the principal of

adapting marketing mindset through personality principals.

Okay, so that’s a pretty long statement that should be broken down a bit, so let’s take

a look at a few things that pertain to this subject and see if we can better understand

what’s behind this idea.

Reboot your mindset

First things first, a business owner should take a look at their own personality and how it

affects their approach to running their (more…)

3 Things You Should Do First If Lost It All

What 3 Things would you have done if you suddenly lost it all and had to start from

scratch all over again was discussed when Joe Polish, hosting Dan Kennedy’s GameChanger DNA

“LIVE” Ask the Experts Webcast, grilled  Andy Jenkins on the topic.

You heard the song, right?  If at first you don’t succeed – Dust yourself off and try again

You can dust it off and try again by Aaliyah

Haven’t we been there All? Ok, not All, may be..  But those , from the Land of Free and Brave,

who have never tried to go in business on their own.  Andy “Da Boss” Jenkins, claiming that

he was even “badder” boy, than Frank Kern, said that he was in that position, at one point of his

online marketing career. It happened right after him splitting up from Stompernet.

In the interview by yet another no stranger to ups and downs in Business, now living legend,

Joe Polish, who was promoting the latest of Dan Kennedy’s ‘’GameChangerDNA’’ Mega Launch,

he said if he’d lost it all, like right now after that interview, he would have done the next three

things in order to get up again, dust himself off and started trying again to climb to the top:

– He would have Started Creating Free Content from the Market Place that he knew something

about or quickly learned something about.

– Then, he would have begun giving away that FREE Content in exchange for the e-mail address,

and simultaneously had started building  Permission Based Online Marketing List. He would

have built the long lasting relationships with that list. Exactly, like Dan Kennedy teaches us.

– And in the last, but not least, step number three – he would have repeated step one and two

many times over and over again… Pretty simple hah..?  But so brilliantly put.

If you don’t like unvarnished TRUTH, stop reading right now.

The news is blaring about the economy and how terrible things are for business. Many entrepreneurs are running scared – it goes DOUBLE for businesses who are missing the point about what really generates income and wealth.

What if I told you there’s a way you can COMPLETELY AVOID ever buying into another “Shiny Object” and get to the heart of what will make you REAL money faster than you probably think possible?

And you can actually do it exerting LESS energy, simply by applying a few FUNDAMENTAL principles!

And it is so true.

Yes, you may have heard a ton about how to make money before, but this is drastically different. This puts YOU in a category of ONE.

Hybrid Marketing, What Works Now.

Hybrid Image Decomposition
Hybrid image from Wikipedia
Prior to the advent of the computer and internet age, there still existed numerous marketing methods but they often tended to be more costly and slower to implement. Today we have computers, laptops, iPhones, iPads, the internet and access to people right around the world through so many different forms of communication that marketing has completely changed.

Direct mail used to be the favorite marketing method because you could post your material out to clients and include whatever you wanted. There weren’t ‘spam filters’ to stop your physical mail getting through. Of course, people had the choice of whether to read your advertising material but at least it got to them.

Nowadays, most businesses rely heavily upon online marketing methods to get their message across. Whether it’s emails, websites, classified ads, forums, links to other sites, social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter and so on, communication is faster and easier because the average consumer is used to using the internet for their browsing and research before going out to do any shopping.

Businesses realize that they must use as many different marketing forms as possible to get through to their customers who have often become impervious to the massive amounts of marketing that occurs. Hybrid marketing is an umbrella (more…)

Top 11 Internet Marketing Tips for 2011

Email Marketing Best Practices

There is an ever-increasing number of businesses utilizing different forms of email marketing to reduce their expenditure and increase profitability as compared to the typical ‘snail mail’ campaigns which are more costly to carry out. Here are the best 11 pointers for ensuring your email strategies are as successful as possible.

  1.  Don’t bombard people with too many emails. Regardless of the content, if you’re sending out newsletters and emails too often, people will more often unsubscribe. A monthly newsletter is the best solution because it can be crammed full of valuable content. You can then send out the occasional extra email if it can’t wait and most people will stay subscribed.
  2.  It’s essential, that every email clearly helps brand you and your business. Include your logo in all emails. Add your signature and contact details in every email. Make sure you have an unsubscribe link clearly marked at the end of every email so you can’t be accused of spamming.
  3.  Regardless of how many people you send emails or newsletters to, including all this branding helps to establish your credibility and increases the likelihood of having your emails read. Use the same colors, style and font as that of your website and other material so you have consistent branding.
  4.  Make your subject line count! It’s the first thing people see and if it doesn’t interest them, they may not even read the email. Short is best. (more…)
